Thomas Dawn is the named custom furniture line of Heather and John Bedford, launched in 2019. Every piece is built to order in our Los Angeles workshop, using locally sourced and eco-conscious materials.

The Bedfords have spent 20–25 years making and selling custom furniture through Modern Studio, their Laguna Beach showroom. Thomas Dawn is the 2019 house line from that same workshop — not a two-decade-old brand name.

We work with homeowners, interior designers, and architects on custom indoor and outdoor upholstery and wood-and-resin tables. Pieces are designed for coastal rooms and urban lofts alike, with a modern line and materials meant to last.
